Hi there!
It’s been a little quiet on the blog lately. No new recaps, no fresh designs, and far fewer updates than I like to share. But while it’s been quiet on the outside, behind the scenes I’ve been working non-stop—after work, on weekends, even late at night—on something big. And today I finally get to share the news: The Recap Vault has moved! 🏠
Not houses, don’t worry. We’ve moved blog platforms.
For a while I was on Blogger, which was perfect when I first started out. But it began to feel limiting, like moving into your first house, a fixer-upper, only to discover you can’t knock down the walls you want to. Eventually, you realize it’s time to build a space of your own where you can design it the way you’ve always pictured. For me, that meant moving to self-hosted WordPress with Hostinger. It gives me more room to grow, more flexibility, and more opportunities to create the cozy online home I’ve been imagining.
Of course, the move hasn’t been without its challenges. I’ve lost (more than) some sleep, stared at more code than I care to admit, and gone through plenty of trial and error getting fonts, colors, and menus just right. But now, after all the late nights and learning curves, this space finally feels like home.
And that’s the exciting part—it really does feel like home. A place that’s comfortable, cozy, and ready to grow with us. The design might look familiar, but it’s sturdier now, built to last, and ready for all the stories still to come.
Looking ahead, I’ll be back to posting more regularly. I’ve got a thriller I’m reading right now that I can’t wait to recap, some shop updates in the works, and even a new documentary that might deserve its own write-up. 👀
Thanks for sticking around during the quiet stretch. I’m so excited for this next chapter, and I can’t wait to share more with you here at our new home on the web. Here’s to fresh beginnings and plenty of recaps ahead! 🥂
